The Department of Biomedical Sciences conducted the first two-day intercollegiate student Annual Meet on 5th and 6th February 2019. The event catered the needs of students with two invited lectures by Dr. K. Kaveri, Deputy Director, King Institute of Preventive Medicine gave insights on ‘Dengue Infections in South India’ and Dr. Sheela Sasikumar who made the audience aware of ‘Diabetic foot ulcer-complications and treatment’ in two consecutive days. Some of the events that took place were Adzap, Monoacting, Quiz, Connexions, short film and oral presentation. About 83 students from different universities and 300 students from SRIHER participated and the winners were awarded with cash prize and certificates.
